Ensure the global marketing strategy for the LEGO Group
Join us in building up a new organisational unit – Brand & Marketing Management – aimed at driving a more ambitious brand and marketing strategy across the entire LEGO Group. Our goal is also to build a culture and capabilities that support marketing innovation. As Senior Marketing Consultant, you will become a part of the Marketing Management department in Billund, Denmark.
Our purpose in Marketing Management is to lead global marketing planning processes and marketing improvement projects on a strategic level to advance marketing in areas such as innovation or return on investment. Your role will be to ensure the development of a holistic marketing strategy and drive a marketing improvement agenda.
Instrumental in driving a global marketing strategy process
On the whole, you will drive the global marketing strategy process across divisions, markets, media and products in a complex environment. Your role will be to consolidate knowledge and implications across markets and divisions. This will of course put your talents in stakeholder management to the test while you build strong relations with leadership teams in markets and product groups – as well as other vital stakeholders. A central goal will be to support the management in integrating marketing departments across different business units and linking them in an overall marketing context. This will involve focusing on both the marketing strategy as well as driving the process.
Furthermore, you will secure tracking on milestones in the marketing improvement agenda as well as documenting and communicating changes. At the same time, you will be instrumental in defining and preparing the corporate management Deep Dive initiative on marketing across the LEGO markets as well as hosting the annual Marketing Summit. This is an opportunity to work in a complex and ambitious division and play a key role in advancing global marketing in the LEGO Group.
High performing senior marketing wiz
At least three years of experience driving a successful marketing strategy process with many stakeholders – and a passion for the job – is a must. And you have solid experience with marketing in a professional marketing environment. Perhaps you have a background as management consultant, strategy consultant or business consultant backed by an MSc in international business, marketing etc.
As a person, you are high performing with the ability to drive and track a process and achieve results. You use your winning personality to create impact on corporate and local levels, set an agenda and sell your ideas. The ability to navigate in a large and complex organisation is essential, and you thrive in a position where we make up the rules as we go. You are fluent in spoken and written English, and you are able to travel 20-30 days per year.
